Enough of the above, now, let me tell you about myself in more detail- I am Nuno Miguel, 42, single, I have never been married, I don't have any kids and I am completely single, yes, I have never been into a relationship, even though I have tried numerous times getting into a serious relationship. I am not that fussy, but it is obvious that when you want to have someone in your life, you have a certain criteria in who you wish to have around you and in your life. Do you think that we need a criteria? Of course we do, you need to have someone that respects you, knows about you, your feelings, someone who is your soulmate, your friend and above all, sees you for who you are. That is the criteria I am talking about. I am not sure whether a relationship through this site is the right choice, but it can be a base that can serve as a platform to meet people and see how real this experience can be. If I have been single all this time, it is not because I am not trying, I am indeed trying, otherwise I would not be here writing about myself and the person I am. When you find a person who sees you for you, then you know that you are wanted, that you feel loved etc, but when you do not find a person that does not feel the same way for you, then, you go separate ways and move on. Being single has its advantages and disadvantages, the first one is, you do not have to answer to anyone about your life, what you do etc, you own your life and you have your independence to do whatever you like. The disadvantage is- you feel lonely at times, you feel that you are alone in the world, even if you have friends, family etc, it is not enough to fill the gaps of your heart and soul, that is why, having a person that can see you for who you are, can make that loneliness a thing of the past. I am not sure what the future holds for me, that is why I try to live life each day, as I do not plan anything for tomorrow. I live today, and my today can be a journey to wonderful things. There are things people here wish to have in their lives, such as-Kids. Do I want kids in the near future? - I am not sure about that, as I have never thought about having kids, I admire those who have them. It is not too late to have them, but I am not sure about having kids. There will be plenty of people who do not want kids, or are not sure about having them. As I never had a relationship with a woman who has kids, I am not sure if we are compatible, but there is nothing that can stop us both from trying, see if we are on the same level, if we are not, then, I am sure you will find someone who will be comfortable in talking to you and respect you for who you are. As I said in the beginning, I am not perfect in any way, I am not here to draw a picture of a perfect person, because I am not, I am always open and I am like a book, what you see is what you get. I can be like a caudron, I can be positive, optimistic at one point and I can be drawn to feel unhappy, lonely and depressed. Life is like that, you know, you live and you learn. I have had a few opportunities to be at a stage in my life where I could have a good career etc, but as a young person in the past, I was not thinking of education, always insecure about myself, always thinking that the time would not be against me and allow me to live life the way I want it. I was so wrong about that, and it is without a doubt that I regret not taking action at that time. Opportunities come and go, but now they are not coming and it is really hard now to get any opportunities, but I do not feel despair, I feel positive and I am hoping for a better future. I am a person who respects every single person, it does not matter where you are from, what color of your hair is or even the color of your skin, I will always respect you no matter what, just bear this in mind. I have family spread around the world, Brazil, Angola, France, Spain and Portugal, so, I have received a lot of input as a young child, and I love it. I am not that religious, I do not go to any church or anything like that, but I respect those who do, because respect should be given to everyone who believes in what they follow, and even to those who do not. Good sense of humour although I can be a tad sarcastic. Will listen to most genres of music but predominantly into 'Classic and heavy / riff / blues / soft Rock, Motown, Reggae in fact most music genres. Give anything (ish) a try once. Fave bands.....Rush, Van Halen, Rhino Bucket, Great White, Chickenfoot, Tesla, Iron Maiden, Scorpions, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Thin Lizzy, UFO, Larry Miller, Santana, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac you get the drift ;). Likes.........Warm weather, the countryside, herb, traveling, pub meals, basic food, listening to music, going to gigs, reading, computers, technology, driving, photography, intelligent people (especially women), good manners, Dislikes.....Slow drivers and the Hunt getting in my way on the lanes, politicians, peas, idiots, wet n damp English weather, bad manners, big cities (ok in small doses, wouldn't want to live in one again), hot spicy food, tall people in front of me at gigs, delays at airports etc, Go to as many gigs as I can here and abroad. I'm a quiet man who likes to smile a lot. When I was young my father taught me how to repair cars and motorbikes and as I have grown older I have found I am able to repair all sorts of things. I work as a heavy goods vehicle driver and get to travel all over England, Wales and Scotland in the UK, picking up and delivering goods. I meet many nice people in my work and get to see some beautiful countryside, mountains and lakes. I live in my truck all week and on a weekend I stay with my mother and elder brother so I am not going home to an empty house. About 12 years ago I used to do Thai boxing training although I never fought in the ring, I really enjoyed it though but unfortunately had to stop because of my work. I do not like to argue as I prefer to talk about problems as I have found there is usually a compromise. I hope this has given you a little understanding of the kind of person I am.

Just getting back into the gym after almost a year off, love swimming, cycling, running and some circuit training. Looking to buy a fancy Scott e aspect 920 bike as i had a shot of one and thought they are brilliant so quick and easy. Enjoy most music, I have pretty eclectic taste, mainly dance and minimalist techno but I still listen to some of the 80's stuff and good ska music. Did do some pilot training with the RAF but havent flown for a decade.. Learned a lot about building as I recently completed my own loft conversion, put two extra bed rooms onto it. Some have said I have a wicked sense of humour, I just think its good to get on with most. Would love to travel around the world!!! Not afraid to cook clean scrub and hoover.. as long as im not alone and the only one to lift a finger : )) Have had a very different life with some major curve balls thrown my way.. but can see the funny side of most of them.. and wouldn't want it to spoil a future.. life aint nothing without a woman or a girl.. when i have a girl worth love and respect my life revolves around her like she is everything .. old fashioned like that xx

My words Not copied! In every crowd there is a love crazed thing, and everyone who loves has a song to sing. It is always the way with lovers. Whom are the fortunate ones that shall find the love they seek? When i dreamt of flowers, would i receive thorns? I f i was to tell her i love her, would she lock my heart away? If i was to adorn her hair with flowers would she shake the flowers to the ground? Perhaps i will meet her some lucky day, then paradise will belong to me and i will not be alone among the crowds. I long for her kiss and her embrace. As long as i am apart my life will be empty. I travel a lot in Asia, mostly China and Indonesia. i enjoy travelling and writing. Like to go cinema and theatre. Enjoy reading. Love to go fishing and cruises. Sometimes when bored, listening to the old songs i gaze upon these beautiful Thailand ladies. Sometimes i sing along, if I stopped to chat, perhaps for a moment i spotted a dream! 12th August 2011 They say, "never judge a book by it's cover." So they say.
