Hi, I live in a village near Hereford. If you don't know the area, there's some lovely countryside, castles, woods and lots of sheep. I'm a quiet sort I suppose. I like to make people laugh but I'm thoughtful and it takes me a while to get to know someone. I'm pretty well read and have had various careers, science, teaching, health, horticulture. I work in the charity sector now. I am a keen composer and spend a lot of time making music. I love nature, birdsong and walking in the woods or by the sea but I don't have ambitions to travel the world which seems quite popular with some ladies. A glass of vino and some chocolate will do me......I used to be quite a good tennis player. I've just started to learn Russian on Duolingo, not easy but I can order a beer now! I will probably resume work as the retirement is a little on the boring side. My family and some work commitments are in Basingstoke in UK so regularly return there. So that is me, no kids and no commitments so I am free to go and do what I like (travelling). So I don't have an ordinary life and am not rich but I have enough to be able to have a nice life but would be great to find someone to share that with.
