I have a 1965 Airstream I have completely renovated and can live off grid anywhere. I have 2 homes...one in the mountains of southwest Colorado and one in Phoenix..I grew up on a farm in Kansas which was a hobby farm...we did not rely on it for income... dad could have bought the big fancy home on the hill but opted for the farm home in 160 acres instead..he worked for the FAA...we had a t-hanger and a runway in the pasture..horses, cows, chickens and farming were my brothers and my responsibilities...it was a good way to grow up...I moved my family to Colorado in 1984..camped out on a piece of property and ALONE built a log home...moved into it with no plumbing or wiring..slowly I wired it and plumbed it and it became home...I am very very handy..a trait I picked up from my dad...I became involved in Realestate in Colorado and found out quickly it was my nitch in life...People began to say " He has the midas touch"... Hard work and hard risk at every turn began to payoff... Very early in lifeI was able to retire..in 2000 I bought my first proper in Arizona...Now I spend half of my life in the mountains of southwest Colorado and the other half in the beautiful desert of Arizona...with many travel adventures in between...All in all I have lived a wonderful life and it only seems to get better...
